Scopophobia

This is Team 15's game for the LATech Game Jam 2025! This is a puzzle platformer game where you must avoid monsters all in an attempt to rise above your own fears once and for all.

Your goal is to find 3 items hidden in each of your nightmares, and return it to its rightful place, besting your fear once and for all. Once you do you can wake up, and finally be at peace. Use your left click to swap between the nightmares and the real world, after all, its only when you close your eyes do you see them... right? While you only have a limited time to choose a nightmare, you are stuck in there until the timer runs out again, and then you can leave. Just make sure you don't get too careless about where you are jumping...

This game features beautiful music with overlapping motifs, wonderful monster and character design, and momentum based platforming that will keep you on your toes. Are you ready to face your fears?

Only scopophobia.zip is needed to play the game, but there is also an OST of the game available to download as well!

Controls:
A or Left Arrow = Run Left
D or Right Arrow = Run Right
E or Enter = Interact
Space = Jump
Left Click = Switch Between Worlds

This was a lot of fun to make! While we of course didnt get to do all we wanted (its a Game Jam, after all) it taught us a lot! Cant wait to do more!
